Automotive Accessories Ltd manufacture and supply the 3-Dimensional H-Point Manikin to all the major Automotive design houses and car manufactures.

Refurbishment H-Point Manikins

We can refurbish old or damaged h-point manikins and bring them up to the latest specification.
Replace the older blue body forms and replace them with the latest tighter tolerance black (‘GLORIA’ compliant) forms

HRMD (Head Restraint Measuring Device)

Automotive Accessories Ltd manufacture and supply the HRMD unit used in combination with the H-Point Manikin, for measuring geometric height and backset of a head restraint for the 50th percentile male in the following RCAR procedures:

“Evaluating motor vehicle head restraints” (geometric)
“Seat/Head Restraint Evaluation Protocol” (dynamic)
Conforms to the Oscar Manikin & HRMD Test procedure (GLORIA)

SAE & GLORIA Jig Calibration Procedures

We Calibrate to the Oscar Manikin & HRMD Test procedure (GLORIA), which calibrates a H-Point Manikin to a HRMD unit. The ‘GLORIA’ procedure is complementary to the SAE J826 Appendix C calibration procedure.

Calibrations should be carried out every 12 months or sooner if the equipment has been damaged or modified

Hire Manikin and HRMD (Head Restraint Measuring Device) units

As many of our customers constantly require the use of the their test equipment and find difficulty in releasing it for recalibration, we have available for hire, a set of calibrated Manikin and HRMD units. This service allows for our customer to maintain continuity of testing when high usage levels are being experienced.
